Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembly Technician to join our team at 22nd Century Technologies Inc. This role involves engaging in essential assembly operations for various mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine assembly tasks on structural and mechanical components, including sub-assemblies and aircraft systems.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of products and processes by participating in the design, development, and testing of innovative concepts and technologies.
  • Work collaboratively on-site with a dedicated team to meet production goals.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in understanding engineering schematics.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments for quality assurance.
  • Hands-on experience in the fabrication or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems in line with industry standards.
  • Familiarity with machine shop operations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of assembly and production methodologies, along with manufacturing capability data.
  • Ability to distinguish between production processes and operational requirements.
  • Engagement in the assessment and qualification of materials and suppliers to ensure compliance with production standards.
  • Commitment to teamwork and collaboration to achieve shared objectives.
  • Knowledge of material properties and shop processes, including safety and calibration protocols.
