Job Overview: First Shift: 7am-3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducts standard assembly operations on structural and mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and aircraft systems, utilizing manual techniques.
  • Engages in the ongoing enhancement of products and processes by contributing to the design, fabrication, and testing of innovative concepts and technologies.
  • May require travel to various facilities as needed.
  • The selected individual will be expected to work onsite at designated locations.
Essential Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Proficient in reading, comprehending, and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprints, schematics).
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
  • At least 1 year of experience using precision measuring instruments.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems following industry standards.
  • At least 1 year of experience with machine shop operations.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Familiarity with assembly and production methodologies, including data necessary for defining delivery configurations (e.g., design definitions, program directives, engineering drawings).
  • Ability to distinguish between production processes and in-service requirements.
  • Involvement in the assessment and qualification of materials, suppliers, equipment, technology, and processes to ensure compliance with production standards.
  • Demonstrates commitment to team objectives and motivation to leverage collective expertise for achieving common goals.
  • Understands the dynamics of effective teamwork to enhance performance levels.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment, with knowledge of material properties.
  • Comprehensive understanding of shop processes, including Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevention, material handling, safety protocols, calibration requirements, and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) measures.
Typical Education / Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
