This role entails executing standard assembly tasks on structural and mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and aviation systems equipment and accessories through manual techniques.

The position promotes ongoing enhancement of products and processes by engaging in the design, development, and evaluation of innovative concepts and technologies.

Travel to various facilities may be necessary. The chosen candidate will be expected to work onsite at the designated location.

Hard Skills
+ Proficiency in reading, comprehending, and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic interpretation, specification change design)+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in interpreting engineering drawings and schematics+ At least 1 year of experience utilizing precision measuring instruments+ 1 year of experience in the fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems adhering to industry standards+ 1 year of experience with machine shop operations+ Familiarity with assembly and production methodologies, manufacturing capabilities, and data essential for defining delivery configurations (e.g., design definitions, program directives, engineering drawings, change memos, wiring diagrams, and schematics)+ Ability to distinguish production manufacturing processes and requirements from in-service procedures and requirements+ Experience in assessing and qualifying materials, suppliers, equipment, technology, and processes to ensure compliance with production standards+ Comprehensive knowledge of shop processes including Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevention, material handling safety, calibration standards, and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)+ IPC 620 certification or willingness to obtain it through training+ J-STD-001 certification or willingness to obtain it through training+ Experience in electro-mechanical assembly (through employment or education)Soft Skills
