In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, and aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories using manual operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, and aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories using manual operations.
  • Support continuous improvement of products and processes by participating in the design, fabrication, and testing of new concepts and technology.
  • Read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design).
  • Participate in the evaluation and qualification of materials, suppliers, equipment, technology, and processes to ensure that conformance and production requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve a common objective and demonstrate a commitment to the mission.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics
  • 1+ years of experience working with precision measuring tools
  • 1+ years of experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems utilizing production industry standards
  • 1+ years of experience with machine shop processes
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities data needed for defining delivery configurations
  • Ability to differentiate production (manufacturing) processes and requirements from in-service procedures and requirements
  • Complete knowledge of shop processes to include Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevention, material handling, safety, calibration requirements, and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)
Working Environment

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and collaborate with the team to achieve a common objective.
