Chief Operating Officer (CoS) Job Description

CLevelCrossing is seeking a highly qualified Chief Operating Officer (CoS) to join our executive team. As a key member of our leadership team, the CoS will play a critical role in driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring alignment across our business divisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Business Initiatives: Oversee the development and execution of strategic business initiatives, ensuring successful outcomes and alignment with company priorities.
  • Executive Support: Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation, providing high-level strategic support.
  • Organizational Structure: Review, design, and execute improvements to organizational structure, identifying knowledge and skills gaps and helping to address them.
  • Process Improvement: Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity, driving operational excellence.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Strategic Advisor: Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO/President, providing high-level strategic support and guidance.
  • Project Management: Manage and coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company priorities and timelines.
  • Leadership Collaboration: Collaborate with leadership team to facilitate problem-solving and decision-making, effective communication, and collaboration across the company's leadership team.
  • Agenda Development: Facilitate the development of the agenda and presentation materials in partnership with the President and other stakeholders.
  • Internal and External Communications: Lead the alignment of agenda, development of materials, and coordination of internal and external company-wide communications and meetings.
  • Business Insights: Conduct research and analysis on key business issues and trends, providing insights and recommendations to the executive C-team.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive operational excellence and efficiency by identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems, and tools.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders and executives within and outside of the organization.
  • Company Liaison: Serve as liaison with staff, executives, senior leaders, and President regarding company climate, investor relations, project updates, proposals, and planning.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and build relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and responsiveness of existing operations and help define new operational strategies.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Seven or more years of experience in a business management, consulting, or executive role.
  • Team Management: Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments.
  • Strategic Planning: Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills (bilingual preferred).
  • Productivity: Versatile abilities and extreme dedication to efficient productivity.
  • Education: Master's degree in business administration or similar field.
  • Data Analysis: Experience in data analysis and budget management.
  • Consulting Experience: Consulting experience, with a focus on operations management.
  • Project Management: Proven success in a project management role.
  • Business Acumen: Nimble business mind, focused on developing creative solutions.
  • Reporting Skills: Strong project-reporting skills, with focus on interdepartmental communications.
