Job Summary

As a highly skilled HVAC Truck Based Mechanic Foreman, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customers' building systems. This is a leadership position that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and coach a team of technicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC mechanical equipment, building control systems, security systems, and fire alarm systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to technicians, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Assist branch leadership in coaching and mentoring technicians to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction and adhere to operational processes.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure that work is being performed in compliance with state, local, and federal regulations and that the highest level of ethics is maintained.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify and resolve building inefficiencies and provide solutions to improve system performance.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of technicians.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements, applying this knowledge to improve processes and procedures.
  • Ensure that all required project and service documentation is completed accurately and on time.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, with a strong background in HVAC mechanical equipment, building control systems, security systems, and fire alarm systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a team of technicians.
  • Ability to act independently and coordinate the work of other employees and contractors on a customer site.
  • Strong technical expertise, with the ability to explain complex technical information to technical and non-technical people.
