We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager II, Commercial to join our team at Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC. - Develop the competency and education of commercial sales channels to train design professionals on properly applying Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC products.
- Perform direct and joint sales calls to develop relationships with local architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Deliver educational presentations to architects, engineers, contractors, and commercial sales channels.
- Participate in local professional networking groups, industry associations, and industry trade shows.
- Enter and maintain customer information, activities, and quotations in SalesForce Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) or other systems as required.
- Manage project pipeline and track within the SalesForce CRM system.
- Occasional job site visits to support customers and service group members.
- Actively participate in sales planning and execution of sales plans for commercial sales channels.
- Assist Regional Manager in gathering market and competitive intelligence.
- Support distribution channels where Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC products are sold as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years technical sales experience.
- VRF experience preferred.
- High degree of knowledge of local HVAC commercial sales channel, engineers, and contractors.
- Expertise ability to read and comprehend architect and engineer plans.
- Proficient with PowerPoint/Excel/Word and other Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent public speaking skills.
- Strong understanding of HVAC application and design is preferred.
- Must reside in the Business Unit Geography.
- Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $88,000 and $121,000 per year. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions of 30% of total compensation calculated as achievement against annual revenue targets, incentive compensation and discretionary awards. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation per year, 56 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, depending on hire date. Employees may also take up to 12 weeks of paid or unpaid leave, if eligible.
