Position Overview
The Lead Grants Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial management of post-award processes for a range of sponsored initiatives awarded to Regional One Health and its associated entities. This position entails meticulous review and reconciliation of invoices alongside various financial statements, comprehensive account analysis, preparation of journal entries, and monitoring of expenditures, along with additional responsibilities as designated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the post-award financial management for a diverse portfolio of sponsored initiatives.
  • Engage in the review and reconciliation of invoices and financial reports, alongside account analysis and journal entry preparation.
  • Track all grant contracts to ensure timely submissions and effectively communicate the status of these grants to leadership and relevant departments.
  • Execute General Accounting functions as directed by leadership, which may include journal entries, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and variance reviews.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in grants accounting within a governmental or non-profit organization is required.
