Overview

The Agile Transformation Lead is responsible for mentoring and guiding teams within the organization to enhance the implementation and continuous improvement of agile methodologies and tools. This role aims to foster a culture of innovation and excellence within Product Development teams, promoting a Lean-Agile mindset throughout the organization. The Agile Transformation Lead will collaborate with leaders to facilitate mindset shifts and mentor technology colleagues across various teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver training sessions and workshops focused on agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Provide coaching to individuals and teams, including scrum masters and product owners, to ensure effective adoption of agile principles and methodologies.
  • Establish and promote standards, ceremonies, and best practices for agile processes and development methodologies.
  • Stay informed about corporate policies, industry trends, and best practices related to agile methodologies.
  • Align program goals and business strategies with the overall vision and direction of the organization.
  • Support the professional development of associates, guiding them in their career progression.
  • Identify staffing needs and collaborate with leadership to recruit and select suitable candidates.
  • Encourage self-development among employees, fostering accountability and regular feedback.
  • Act as a liaison between technology teams and leadership to clarify policies, address career growth, and resolve performance-related concerns.
  • Provide leadership and guidance for complex development challenges, coordinating across teams as necessary.
  • Champion the Agile mindset and drive change initiatives within the organization.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in coaching and developing teams and individuals.
  • Strong ability to influence change and manage conflict at all organizational levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Technical expertise relevant to the role, particularly in software development or related fields.
  • Proficient in problem-solving with the ability to evaluate multiple solutions and select the most effective approach.
  • Ability to escalate decisions to leadership when necessary.
  • Experience in developing and analyzing metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
Education & Experience
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Required: 10+ years of experience in Information Technology or a related area, including 5+ years in a leadership or coaching capacity.
  • Required: Experience in significant roles during business and agile transformations.
Certifications
  • Preferred: SAFe Program Consultants Certification.
Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Familiarity with Agile Development & Planning Tools (e.g., Jira, Visio).

• Experience with Google Workspace products.
