Overview:
Wheeler Machinery Company is in search of a dedicated Technical Sales Specialist. In this role, you will leverage your engineering expertise alongside your sales acumen to deliver exceptional support and guidance on a variety of products that require specialized knowledge.
Your responsibilities will include collaborating with team members on proposals and tenders for prospective clients, ensuring a comprehensive technical approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth and enhance account engagement for Wheeler Machinery's survey and construction technology offerings, including scanning, mobile mapping, aerial services, and automation.
- Facilitate demonstrations for new customers on both Trimble and non-Trimble product applications.
- Integrate new products and software seamlessly into existing customer workflows.
- Provide high-level technical support as a communicator between the Wheeler team and Trimble Service and Support.
- Oversee Trimble BETA testing initiatives for both the Wheeler team and clients.
- Identify and implement technology solutions to boost productivity and efficiency within the Wheeler team.
- Explore opportunities to expand into additional product lines and innovative technology solutions to enhance sales and support initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline or related field.
- Ability to articulate and present complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
- Strong technical foundation with practical experience in survey, construction, and CAD software.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient presentation and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
