Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Software Engineering Manager to oversee our MYMOVE division. In this role, you will manage an internal front-end engineering team while also being an active contributor and mentor, guiding daily operations and influencing long-term objectives.

Your role will involve enhancing the capabilities of your team members, fostering both individual and collective growth.

As the representative of the front-end engineering group, you will collaborate closely with product and business leaders to create innovative solutions that drive and support the MYMOVE initiative.

The MYMOVE team assists individuals during significant transitions, such as relocating to a new residence, by facilitating mail forwarding and connecting them with local deals from top brands.

Our services encompass location-specific broadband information, security systems, retail partnerships, and more.


Key Responsibilities:
Business Value Delivery:
Ensure the delivery of incremental value while maintaining high-quality standards. Collaborate strategically with our platform and product teams to support these efforts.

Learning and Development:
Attract, onboard, and retain a diverse range of top talent. Focus on developing individuals and teams through coaching, mentoring, and management support. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, goal-setting sessions, and feedback discussions to promote well-being and team health, while also supporting their professional growth.

Continuously strive to enhance inclusion and belonging within your team and the broader organization.


Process and Product:
Ensure transparency, efficiency, and collaboration across engineering teams and project management.

Leadership:
Promote leadership at all levels within the engineering organization.

Organizational Development:
Drive organizational growth and support structures for teams by leading broader development initiatives in collaboration with other engineering managers.

Technical Expertise:
Enhance your team's skills in performance, reliability, resilience, scalability, maintainable architecture, and experimentation.

Qualifications:

People Development:
You should have a minimum of three years of experience in building and leading software development teams, successfully delivering software solutions.

Technical Skills:
5+ years of hands-on experience with front-end technologies such as Vue, React, HTML, and JavaScript. Familiarity with cloud technology stacks from providers like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Cloudflare. Experience with back-end technologies such as Golang, NodeJS, Ruby, etc. Proficient in software version control systems (Git, Subversion, etc.) and project management tools (Jira, Asana, etc.).

Hybrid Work Experience:
Experience working with distributed teams across various time zones.

Delivery Knowledge:
Understanding of modern software engineering practices and their application across different teams. A commitment to agile and lean methodologies, with a proven track record of delivering business value.

Leadership Style:
A servant leader who is passionate about engineering and collaboration, with a focus on continuous learning and team building.

Communication Skills:
Strong communication abilities and effective feedback skills are essential.


Compensation:

USA Compensation Range: $130,000-190,000. Actual salary is determined by geographic location, qualifications, and experience. Red Ventures offers a comprehensive benefits package, subject to eligibility requirements, including:
