Job Summary

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of locations, ensuring they operate in accordance with company policy and delivering company, client, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure daily operations within the portfolio are performed in accordance with company policy, including proper staffing and adherence to opening and closing procedures.
  • Lead teams, comprised of professional and hourly workforce individuals, by sourcing candidates, providing onboarding and training, and developing key talent.
  • Develop and mentor Senior Operations Managers and provide leadership to the portfolio.
  • Work with senior management and clients to maximize revenue opportunities through rate surveys and analysis.
  • Manage budget processes, variance reporting, and quarterly forecasts to ensure financial results meet corporate and client expectations.
  • Draft RFPs and attend client presentations as part of the bid process.
  • Ensure all facilities within the portfolio operate in accordance with company policy, including revenue control, equipment maintenance, and customer service standards.
  • Review incident claims, internal audit scores, and Workers' Comp trends and work with senior management to resolve performance gaps.
  • Manage communications between operations and internal departments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in General Business or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of operational and leadership experience in the parking or related industry, including revenue control and reporting.
  • Background in managing multiple facilities across a geographic range.
  • Established experience in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
