Job Title: General Manager

Washington Marriott Capitol Hill is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead our team.

About the Role:

The General Manager will be responsible for driving hotel operations to achieve maximum profits and exceptional guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a diverse team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue, optimize expenses, and achieve budgetary goals.
  • Maintain a seamless and efficient operation, overseeing all aspects of the hotel, including front office, housekeeping, and maintenance.
  • Implement best practices to uphold quality and safety standards, and follow sustainability guidelines.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development, empowering team members to excel in their roles and advance within the organization.
Requirements:
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in operations management or a similar leadership role in a full-service hotel.
  • Marriott experience is preferred.
  • Financial acumen and the ability to develop budgets and manage financial performance.

Work Environment and Context:

The General Manager will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, push, lift up to 25 pounds, bend, and reach. Occasional travel is required.
