Job Title: General Manager

Masseria, a critically acclaimed Southern Italian fine dining restaurant in Washington D.C.'s Union Market District, is seeking a seasoned General Manager to support and maintain the service and standards of our day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all front and back of house operations
  • Work closely with the leadership and support team
  • Manage overall restaurant cost and SOPs
  • Supervise dining room floor and guest services
  • Communicate with chefs daily for menu updates
  • Assist in the training of new staff members
  • Monitor inventory procedures and organize data
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in front of house floor management
  • Strong background in wine and wine service standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and be consistent
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous Michelin-starred experience and/or fine dining experience
  • Experience with using Harri, Toast, Tock, and/or Tripleseat
  • TIPS certified
  • Bilingual/multilingual
