Job Title: Senior Business IT Alignment Manager

Location: Remote

Period: Ongoing

Hours/Week: 40 hours

Rate: $90 - $100/hr

Contract Type: W2 only


Scope of Services:

The Senior Business IT Alignment Manager will oversee the alignment of business units and IT to deliver Company solutions and ensure value is achieved as anticipated from outsourced relationships. This role will partner with Business Relationship Managers and Providers to identify business requirements and define IT solutions. The Senior Business IT Alignment Manager will play a key role in decision making, planning, and executing IT initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate and manage Request (Work Intake) lifecycle, track status, and provide regular feedback to Request Initiators.
  • Responsible for successful execution of projects working through providers, including approval of project-related deliverables.
  • Manage BSS capacity and review project demand for solutions and projects across respective domains.
  • Ensure alignment with Enterprise service providers and escalate if unable to meet demand.
  • Communicate effectively, demonstrate leadership, and facilitate collaboration between stakeholders.
  • Manage communication and negotiation with suppliers to obtain required solution design and sizing.
  • Review and approve infrastructure and software-related project costs.
  • Take account of relevant legislation, compliance requirements, and industry regulations.
  • Emerging leader in industry advancements and direction of domains supported.
  • Think strategically, leveraging knowledge of domain needs across Company.
  • Ensure effective systems operations between suppliers and Company Plan/Build organization.
  • 5-9 Direct Reports.
  • Partner with Enterprise Architects on establishment of Domain Specific Communities of Practices.
  • Function as Single Point of Escalation for all questions, activities, and issues related to project delivery requests.
  • Accountable across Company for technologies defined within their domains.
  • Drive to resolution supplier issues.
  • Lead solutioning for functional domain or domains.
  • Key partner with Project Management Office on development of proper communication with clients and suppliers.
  • Identify and propose new Service Requests to be included in the Service Catalogue.
  • Responsible for Staff and Travel budgets.
  • Approve ROM estimates prior to project initiation.
  • Review and approve time reports/invoices, monitor actuals.
  • Manage Phase Zero's and accountable for accurate financial estimates.
  • Work with BRM on creation of capital requests.
  • For COTS, work with Purchasing and vendors on on-going software/hardware license maintenance estimates.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 5-7 years relevant work experience.
