We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Sociology courses at the University of North Texas at Dallas. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Sociology or a related field and experience in teaching core-curriculum Sociology courses.
Responsibilities- Plan and implement teaching/learning objectives and student learning outcomes.
- Develop curriculum and provide instruction in a range of classes in Sociology and Justice and Social Policy.
- Coordinate with the department Program Coordinator and other faculty as needed.
- Master's degree in Sociology or a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in Sociology.
- Outstanding experience in teaching core-curriculum Sociology courses.
- Excellent communication skills in multicultural settings.
- PhD in Sociology with significant experience in higher education.
- Successful experience teaching adults in a post-secondary institution.
- Specialized work-related or teaching experience that directly relates to the course being taught.
- Experience in online course development and teaching.
