Heavy Mobile Equipment Technician

The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a skilled Mobile Equipment Mechanic to join our team at our American Aggregates of MI location in Oxford, MI.

The Mobile Equipment Mechanic will work in the shop performing all functions related to diagnosing and repairing heavy mobile equipment, including repairing and maintaining all mobile equipment, rebuilding mobile equipment machinery and components, and operating and inspecting equipment to diagnose defects.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, mechanical aptitude and knowledge of off-road heavy equipment, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

The Mobile Equipment Mechanic will also be responsible for welding, cutting, and fabricating all equipment and components, changing oil and checking and changing batteries, performing preventive maintenance, and making recommendations for equipment to be repaired by outside sources.
