About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Store Cleaning Associate to join our team at TJ Maxx Store 1327. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, ensuring a positive customer experience, and upholding our company's high standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain floor care equipment, including scrubbers and buffers, to ensure a clean and safe store environment.
  • Dust mop, damp mop, sweep, and vacuum floors to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Dust and polish glass and windows to ensure a sparkling store appearance.
  • Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards to prevent shrinkage and maintain a secure store environment.
  • Cross-train in multiple areas of the store to support business needs and provide excellent customer service.
  • Support and respond to all Front End coverage needs, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Communicate effectively with management and associates to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to work with a diverse group of customers and associates.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor care equipment.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and responding appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to listen and respond effectively.
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.

This position has a starting pay range of $12.00 to $12.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
