Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Soil Testing, Inc. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our heavy equipment fleet, including drill rigs, backhoes, excavators, and trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and trucks.
  • Assess and diagnose issues with vehicles and machinery.
  • Perform routine maintenance and record work performed.
  • Inspect equipment and trucks regularly.
  • Keep a clean and safe work area.
  • Adhere to company safety policies.
  • Provide your own set of basic hand tools.

Requirements:
  • Experience conducting routine heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated experience inspecting heavy equipment and trucks.
  • Practical mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • CDL and/or welding fabrication ability a plus.
