Senior Vice President of Operations

Position Overview:
The Senior Vice President of Operations is tasked with overseeing the health system's virtual care, community-based services, and rehabilitation sectors, ensuring that all operations are aligned with the goal of enhancing clinical outcomes while effectively managing costs. This role involves collaboration with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, medical staff, and quality management teams, to establish and promote a unified vision that propels the health system towards its strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with system leadership to facilitate the transition towards improved outcomes and reduced costs. Act as a visionary leader in the shift from fee-for-service to value-based care.
- Ensure that the portfolio of virtual care and community services operates cohesively, providing appropriate oversight and direction for all provider-related activities. Build strong relationships with acute care leaders and medical staff to advocate for evidence-based practices and effective care coordination.
- Work in conjunction with the Vice President of Care Management to optimize care transitions, aiming to enhance outcomes while minimizing unnecessary readmissions and care disruptions.
- Stay informed about innovative care models, identifying and implementing new strategies and partnerships that lead to improved results within the post-acute care division.
- Promote the standardization of care practices and the adoption of evidence-based methodologies across all teams.
- Lead initiatives to transform the organization into a high-reliability entity, targeting zero avoidable harm, complications, readmissions, and mortality.
- Encourage a culture of innovation, leveraging technology and alternative care delivery methods to enhance service provision.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in health care operations.
