The Senior Vice President of Operations plays a pivotal role in overseeing the health system's virtual care, home and community-based services, as well as rehabilitation initiatives. This position is dedicated to enhancing clinical outcomes while effectively managing the overall cost of care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with essential stakeholders, including system leadership, board members, and medical professionals, to cultivate a unified vision that propels the health system towards its mission.
2. Actively engage in the transformation of healthcare delivery, focusing on shifting from fee-for-service to value-based care.
3. Ensure that the array of virtual care, home and community services, and rehabilitation efforts are seamlessly integrated and monitored for optimal performance.
4. Foster productive relationships with acute care leaders and medical staff to promote evidence-based practices and effective care transitions.
5. Partner with the Vice President of Care Management to enhance care transitions, aiming to reduce unnecessary readmissions and improve overall outcomes.
6. Stay informed about emerging care models and implement innovative strategies to enhance the operations of the post-acute care division.
7. Advocate for new programs and initiatives to leadership and team members, driving standardization and adoption of best practices across the organization.
8. Lead initiatives to establish St. Luke's Health System as a high-reliability organization, targeting zero avoidable harm and complications.
9. Encourage a culture of innovation and explore new technologies and methods for care delivery.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in healthcare operations.
