About the Role

Sares Regis Operating Company, L.P. is seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our 184-unit community, The Hawthorne Apartments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Hire, train, and develop a competent team to ensure the property's success.
  • Financial Management: Review daily rent recommendations, identify opportunities to maximize income, and implement timely legal delinquent rent procedures.
  • Resident Services: Collect rents, ensure resident insurance compliance, and implement resident retention procedures.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Complete weekly reports, analyze monthly performance, and identify potential market challenges.
  • Marketing and Sales: Create effective marketing plans, educate staff and regional manager about competitors and market conditions.
  • Contract Management: Bid out recurring contract work, ensure contractor insurance and lien waiver requirements are in compliance with policy.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Implement OSHA and other safety procedures, ensure team education on safety precautions, and identify potential risk management issues.
  • Property Maintenance: Identify potential repairs or capital projects, confirm quality curb appeal meets corporate standards.
Requirements
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills, with leadership/supervisory experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Community Manager.
  • Sales and Marketing Skills: Excellent sales skills and ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of operations software used at the property level, Outlook, Internet software, EXCEL, and WORD.
