Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Community Director to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Community Director in the day-to-day operations of our affordable housing properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relations: Carry out the philosophies and wishes of the Owner in the daily overall operations of the apartment community to ensure FPI is meeting the Client objective and expectations.
  • Communication: Maintain positive, professional and effective communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients and guests while representing FPI.
  • Employee Management: Operate the property in the absence of the Community Director.
  • Leasing/Occupancy: Maintain occupancy levels as established by owner/budget expectations.
  • Revenue Management: Assists the Community Director in maximizing revenue potential of the property through the management of lease expirations and timely turnover.
  • Reporting and Document Management: Maintain appropriate resident files including forms, leases, documents in accordance with FPI Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Risk Management: Ensure compliance of Risk Management items through the following of the FPI Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Facility Maintenance: Assist residents with reporting of maintenance needs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in property management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
