- Proposal and Contract Management: Prepare and present accurate event proposals and contracts, ensuring all details are clearly outlined and agreed upon.
- Internal Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal teams, including culinary, operations, and event staff, to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning process, providing timely updates and addressing any concerns or changes.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate logistics for events, including equipment rentals, staffing requirements, and special requests.
- Industry Networking: Attend industry events, and networking functions to promote our restaurant and expand client base.
- Sales Metrics Analysis: Track catering sales metrics and analyze trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized records of client communications, contracts, and event details using Del-Phi software.
- Company Policy Adherence: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards for service quality and guest satisfaction.
- Marketing Support: Assist with marketing initiatives, including creating promotional materials and participating in marketing campaigns as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in catering sales or event planning, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proven Track Record: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building long-term client relationships.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with clients and colleagues.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Del-Phi Knowledge: Del-Phi knowledge is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends, culinary terminology, and event planning best practices.
- Flexibility: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
