About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Relationship Manager to join our team at Principal Financial Group. As a key member of our Retirement area, you will play a pivotal role in developing and nurturing deep relationships with advisors, plan sponsors, and third-party administrators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with plan sponsors and advisors on plan design, investments, retirement readiness, services, and new opportunities.
  • Conduct plan level health reviews and problem-solve complex issues.
  • Develop and implement strategic solutions to meet clients' business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or 8 years of equivalent experience required.
  • 4+ years of retirement industry experience.
  • Must become an associated person of Principal Securities, Inc.
  • Qualified Plan knowledge strongly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills required.
  • Must be assertive and entrepreneurial.
  • Travel required - 25-30% (including day and overnight stays combined, mostly day trips).
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary range: $91,000 - $152,000 per year.
  • Flexible Time Off (FTO) program.
