Job Overview
As a Pharmacy Operations Supervisor, you will be instrumental in fostering an environment that prioritizes exceptional customer service, ensuring that our community receives the highest quality of care. Your leadership will guide our team in treating customers and colleagues with fairness and integrity, while maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Champion health and wellness initiatives within the pharmacy.
  • Adhere to all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.
  • Perform essential functions of a Pharmacy Senior Certified Technician as required.
  • Maintain necessary state registration, certification, or licensure as mandated.
  • Assist pharmacists in various responsibilities, excluding those requiring professional judgment.
  • Deliver outstanding customer experiences by efficiently managing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
  • Provide training and mentorship to new pharmacy technicians, ensuring they receive comprehensive support.
  • Encourage and guide new technicians through their training programs.
  • Lead by example to ensure adherence to departmental standards.
  • Represent the pharmacy in store-wide meetings and huddles.
  • Manage scheduling and station rotations for hourly staff based on labor forecasts.
  • Oversee inventory management, including order reconciliation and physical inventory preparation.
  • Act as a safety expert, identifying areas for improvement and coaching staff accordingly.
  • Prepare for offsite health clinics, supporting pharmacists in delivering services.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations, promptly addressing any unsafe conditions.
  • Report any illegal activities, including theft or fraud, to the appropriate authorities.
  • Perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • A professional demeanor, reliability, and a positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • At least one year of experience in a management or supervisory capacity is preferred.
