Job Overview

The role of the Quality Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring the effective delivery of CorVel's comprehensive workers' compensation solutions. This position focuses on the creation, execution, and continuous application of quality assurance tools and training, aimed at achieving consistency and fostering customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough quality audits to assess claims management and office performance, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify training needs and facilitate the development of claims staff, ensuring all offices are updated on best practices and new procedures.
  • Serve as a backup for incoming Pharmacy team calls during peak times, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Compile and analyze daily rejection reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Manage quality assurance communications, including the handling of forwarded QA emails.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete after-hours projects as needed.
  • Assist in the training and onboarding of new pharmacy representatives.
  • Maintain and update essential reference materials, including Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to enhance performance.
  • Generate comprehensive quality assurance reports for management review.
  • Develop and maintain training documents for ongoing professional development within the Pharmacy team.
  • Publish a quarterly newsletter to keep the team informed of relevant updates and information.
  • Engage in miscellaneous pharmacy projects as required.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in pharmacy benefit management.
  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
