Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive logs for change orders, subcontractors, RFIs, and contingencies.
  • Collaborate with the Labor Superintendent to ensure the labor strategy is effectively implemented.
  • Develop MEP schedules and manpower loading charts for all projects.
  • Deliver precise, timely, and complete estimates and change order proposals.
  • Engage with purchasing and subcontractors to confirm project schedules, scopes, and pricing.
  • Advocate for and uphold a safe working environment.
  • Address customer needs to foster repeat business opportunities.
  • Execute Design-Build or Bid Specification projects as required.
  • Estimate a variety of electrical projects, including bid specifications, public, private, and design-build initiatives.
  • Provide assistance in Electrical Engineering and consultation services.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial, institutional, and industrial project estimation.
  • Proven experience managing projects with budgets ranging from $100K to $10M.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and mechanical coordination.
  • Experience in project financial tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to monitor labor performance to identify productivity and track project progress.
  • Familiarity with generating and updating construction schedules.
  • Proficient in interpreting plans and specifications for material ordering and change order estimation.
  • Capability to order, track, and expedite MEP and specialty items for timely project delivery.
  • Experience managing multi-discipline projects is a plus.
