Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager. This role is critical in overseeing and managing electrical construction projects, ensuring the effective utilization of resources to achieve customer satisfaction, enhance productivity, and drive profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive logs for change orders, subcontractors, RFIs, and contingencies.
  • Collaborate with the Labor Superintendent to ensure adherence to the labor plan.
  • Develop MEP schedules and manloading charts for all assigned projects.
  • Provide accurate and timely estimates and change order quotations.
  • Engage with purchasing and subcontractors to confirm schedules, scopes, and pricing.
  • Foster a safe working environment by promoting safety protocols.
  • Address customer needs to cultivate repeat business opportunities.
  • Manage Design Build or Bid Spec projects effectively.
  • Estimate various electrical projects, including bid spec, public, private, and design build.
  • Support Electrical Engineering and consultation as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in managing commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.
  • Proven experience managing projects with budgets ranging from $100K to $10M.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical coordination.
  • Experience in project financial tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to monitor labor performance for productivity assessment and progress tracking.
  • Familiarity with generating and updating construction schedules.
  • Proficient in reading plans and specifications for material ordering and change order estimation.
  • Capability to order, track, and expedite MEP and specialty items for timely project delivery.
  • Experience in managing multi-disciplined projects is a plus.
