Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager. This role involves overseeing the planning and execution of electrical construction projects, ensuring optimal resource utilization to achieve client satisfaction, enhance productivity, and drive profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive logs for change orders, subcontractors, RFIs, and contingencies.
  • Collaborate with the Labor Superintendent to implement the labor strategy effectively.
  • Develop MEP schedules and manloading charts for all assigned projects.
  • Deliver precise and timely estimates and change order proposals.
  • Engage with purchasing and subcontractors to confirm schedules, scopes, and pricing.
  • Foster a culture of safety and compliance on job sites.
  • Address customer requirements to cultivate repeat business opportunities.
  • Manage both Design Build and Bid Spec projects.
  • Estimate a variety of electrical projects, including public, private, and design-build initiatives.
  • Provide assistance in Electrical Engineering and consultation as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in managing commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.
  • Proven track record of managing projects ranging from $100K to $10M.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and mechanical coordination.
  • Experience in project financial tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to monitor labor performance to assess productivity and progress.
  • Familiarity with construction scheduling and updates.
  • Proficient in interpreting plans and specifications for material ordering and change order estimation.
  • Capability to order, track, and expedite MEP and specialty items for timely project delivery.
  • Experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects is a plus.
