Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate logs for change orders, subcontractors, RFIs, and contingencies.
- Collaborate with the Labor Superintendent to implement the labor strategy effectively.
- Develop MEP schedules and manpower loading charts for all projects.
- Provide precise, timely, and comprehensive estimates and change order proposals.
- Engage with purchasing and subcontractors to confirm project schedules, scopes, and pricing.
- Uphold a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Address customer needs to foster repeat business opportunities.
- Execute Design-Build or Bid Specification projects.
- Estimate a variety of electrical projects, including bid specifications, public, private, and design-build contracts.
- Support Electrical Engineering and consultation efforts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial, institutional, and industrial projects is required.
- Experience managing projects ranging from $100K to $10M.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and mechanical coordination.
- Proven experience in project financial tracking and reporting.
- Ability to monitor labor performance to assess productivity and progress.
- Familiarity with generating and updating construction schedules.
- Competence in interpreting plans and specifications for material ordering and change order estimation.
- Proficient in ordering, tracking, and expediting MEP and specialty items for timely project delivery.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary projects is a plus.
