Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate logs for change orders, subcontractors, RFIs, and contingencies.
- Collaborate with the Labor Superintendent to ensure the labor strategy is effectively implemented.
- Develop MEP schedules and manpower loading charts for all projects.
- Consistently provide precise, timely, and comprehensive estimates and change order proposals.
- Engage with purchasing and subcontractors to confirm schedule, scope, and pricing.
- Foster and uphold a safe working environment.
- Address customer requirements to encourage repeat business.
- Execute Design-Build or Bid Specification projects.
- Estimate a variety of electrical projects, including bid specifications, public, private, or design-build contracts.
- Support Electrical Engineering and Engineering Consultation efforts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial, institutional, and industrial projects is required.
- Experience managing projects ranging from $100K to $10M.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and mechanical coordination.
- Experience in project financial tracking and reporting is essential.
- Ability to monitor labor performance to identify productivity and track progress.
- Proficient in generating and updating construction schedules.
- Skilled in interpreting plans and specifications for material ordering and change order estimation.
- Capability to order, track, and expedite MEP and specialty items for timely project delivery.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary projects is a plus.
