Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager. This role involves overseeing the planning and execution of electrical construction projects, utilizing all available resources to ensure client satisfaction, enhance productivity, and drive profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive logs for change orders, subcontractors, RFIs, and contingencies.
  • Collaborate with the Labor Superintendent to implement the labor strategy effectively.
  • Develop MEP schedules and manpower loading charts for all assignments.
  • Provide precise, timely, and thorough estimates and change order proposals.
  • Engage with procurement and subcontractors to confirm project schedules, scopes, and pricing.
  • Foster and uphold a safe working environment.
  • Address client needs to cultivate repeat business opportunities.
  • Manage both Design-Build and Bid Spec projects.
  • Estimate a variety of electrical projects, including bid specifications, public and private contracts, and design-build initiatives.
  • Support Electrical Engineering and provide consultation as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in managing commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.
  • Proven track record in managing projects ranging from $100K to $10M.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and mechanical coordination.
  • Experience in financial tracking and reporting for projects.
  • Ability to monitor labor performance to assess productivity and project progress.
  • Proficient in creating and updating construction schedules.
  • Skilled in interpreting plans and specifications for material ordering and change order estimation.
  • Competence in ordering, tracking, and expediting MEP and specialty items for timely project delivery.
  • Experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects is advantageous.
