About the Position

We are expanding our Live globalization team, tasked with the seamless management and launch of Live events for our global audience. In this senior individual contributor role, you will spearhead a multifaceted localization initiative for live event streaming on Netflix. You should thrive in a dynamic environment, adept at establishing programs and workflows in new and evolving business areas. Daily interaction with executive leadership and cross-functional specialists across Content, Product Management, Experience Design, Marketing, Engineering Operations, and more will be a key aspect of your role.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead a cross-functional localization team to deliver an exceptional multilingual Live product and viewing experience for our global members.
  • Establish and uphold a comprehensive live localization program, defining clear roles and responsibilities, ensuring high-quality output, and fostering strong partnerships in this new domain.
  • Manage daily collaborations across the organization, facilitating alignment and providing regular updates on key initiatives and outputs.
  • Collaborate with the team to assess the setup and localization deliverables for all Live title launches, ensuring alignment with expectations.
  • Proactively identify and implement scalable workflows, articulating new requirements that enhance the efficiency of the globalization organization.
  • Be available during all Live streams to support your team in troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to engage hands-on in leading and executing critical projects.
Qualifications:
  • Over 10 years of program management experience, preferably in the Live streaming or broadcasting sector, with a focus on international and multilingual content.
  • A strategic and analytical mindset, coupled with empathy and a strong customer-centric approach.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to timely updates.
  • A highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently and driving alignment in ambiguous situations.
  • Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders and effectively influence and contribute actionable recommendations across regional and global teams.
  • Comfortable utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methods to define success.
  • A relentless curiosity to explore new domains, stay abreast of industry innovations, and continuously question the status quo.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
Our compensation structure is straightforward, consisting solely of an annual salary; we do not offer bonuses. Each year, you have the flexibility to choose how much of your compensation you wish to allocate to salary versus stock options. To establish your personal top-of-market compensation, we consider market indicators alongside your specific job family, background, skills, and experience. The compensation range for this role is $210,000-$500,000.

Additionally, we provide paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off, while full-time salaried employees enjoy immediate access to flexible time off.
