Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Site Reliability Engineer to join our mission to revolutionize observability. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of our products, ensuring high-quality software and exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery and reliability across the entire lifecycle
  • Measure and monitor production systems for availability, latency, and overall system health
  • Investigate errors and instability in our cloud services, driving teams towards operational excellence
  • Collaborate with product and platform teams to improve and evolve systems, advocating for changes that enhance reliability, resilience, and observability
  • Identify and reduce toil through creative innovation and automation
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities
Requirements
  • Extensive experience with enterprise-scale continuous delivery environments
  • 8+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role
  • Proficiency in development in a Linux/Mac environment
  • Experience with Configuration Management Tools like Terraform, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and container/orchestration technologies
  • Background in Linux Systems Engineering
  • Experience with incident response tools, such as PagerDuty, FireHydrant, or Blameless
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of cloud and application security
  • Strong understanding of cloud design patterns for scale, data management, and resiliency
  • A passion for high-quality software and testing
  • Opinions on dashboards, metrics, and SLOs
What We Offer

Cribl provides a competitive salary range of $144,000 - $278,000, dependent on location and individual qualifications. We also offer a generous benefits package, including health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance, paid holidays and time off, a fertility treatment benefit, 401(k), equity, and eligibility for a discretionary company-wide bonus.
