**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Steinlodge. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, training cooks, and ensuring the highest quality dining experience for our guests.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, prioritizing tasks and setting deadlines for completion
  • Train and develop cooks to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to carry out directives and ensure seamless kitchen operations
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Develop and implement menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain strategies to optimize kitchen efficiency

**Requirements**

  • 2+ years of management experience in an upscale fine dining production kitchen
  • Utah Food Handlers Permit or Sanitation Certificate
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
