As a seasoned Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will excel in recognizing and cultivating strategic collaborations within the technology sector. Your expertise should encompass all facets of partnership development and execution, including collaborative selling. A proven history of expanding partnerships through robust relationships, joint go-to-market strategy formulation, and effective pipeline management with high success rates is essential. This role will report directly to the Head of Strategic Alliances. The successful candidate will be dynamic, proactive, and possess substantial knowledge of technology sales and partnership dynamics.Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, recruit, and nurture new technology partners for Visual Lease, including ERP providers, financial reconciliation services, BPOs, technology integrators, and ISPs.
  • Oversee all elements of partnership development, onboarding, education, and growth through lead generation and opportunity management.
  • Act as the primary liaison for the daily management of key technology partnerships.
  • Inform partners about our solutions and market focus, ensuring they are updated on industry changes and trends.
  • Deliver solution recommendations, product insights, and support materials to partner and sales teams within partner organizations.
  • Manage the sales process comprehensively, leading complex negotiations typically in a collaborative selling framework.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to influence the product roadmap, enhancing existing partnerships and forging new ones.
  • Work closely with account management, sales, and marketing to ensure effective execution of partnership initiatives, including joint marketing and sales enablement programs.
  • Jointly develop customer penetration strategies and new customer initiatives to drive revenue growth with partners.
  • Utilize Salesforce effectively to maintain up-to-date activity, funnel, and forecasting metrics.
  • Stay informed on market conditions, industry needs, competitor strategies, potential threats, and goals.
  • Provide coaching and professional development opportunities for team members.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 5-7 years of comprehensive sales experience, with a minimum of 3 years in software sales.
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in alliance/channel development within the technology sector, preferably in financial technology.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong consultative selling and listening skills.
  • Proven track record of building technology partner ecosystems through integrated offerings and defined go-to-market strategies.
  • Experience engaging with key decision-makers at the executive level.
  • Ability to demonstrate sales success, including executive relationship management, account penetration, solution selling, and coordination of multi-site account management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive sales strategies, proposals, documentation, and presentations.
  • Solid understanding of industry trends, key players, terminology, and the overall market landscape.
  • Proficient in contract management and evaluation methodologies.
  • Ability to represent Visual Lease effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including at industry events.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary (up to 25%).
