Job Summary:

The Senior Architect at Tekfortune Inc. is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data architecture solutions to support Application initiatives and strategies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, identifying data sources, and architecting digital solutions that are performant and scalable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the establishment of an IT Architecture practice, and the adoption of an architecture and standards methodology.
  • Manage activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation.
  • Review business context for solutions to company challenges, and define the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, and selecting the most optimal option.
  • Communicate the architecture to stakeholders, and collaborate and coordinate with existing domain architects in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures.
  • Provide solutions that include AI features as needed.
  • Directly assist in the development of a solutions architecture program, including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT systems architecture.
  • Assure solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with the standards guidelines of technology solutions.
  • Influence changes to standards when necessary. Assist domain architecture team on solutions management and timing of financial spend for application solutions.
  • Support the architectural aspects of all application projects in peer IT portfolios.
  • Direct the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options, incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
  • Develop and execute solutions that further reduce the percentage of time spent on reactive work.
  • Provide analysis of security protection technologies, as necessary.
  • Familiar with agile software development methodologies and understanding of enterprise project lifecycle.
  • Experience in developing architectural solutions that contain multiple tiers.
  • Familiar with identity resolution and identity management concepts within customer-facing web applications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience 7-10 years as a solution architect or similar role working on high-volume applications.
  • Expertise in backend technologies (Java, Oracle) Deep knowledge of Amazon Web Services higher level services (e.g., ECS, SNS, SQS, Lambda, Kinesis, S3, Parameter Store, Cloud Formation).
  • Understanding of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, Cassandra), and data integration technologies (e.g., Message queues, API integrations).
  • Ingrained DevOps mindset and experience with a variety of CICD tooling as well as infrastructure management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
