Job Title:

Direct Support Professional 2 - Riverside

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional 2 to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network in Riverside, CA. As a Direct Support Professional 2, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to have quality of life. You will promote the health, safety, and well-being of residents and serve as an advocate for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily routines, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Support clients with physical and emotional needs, including providing emotional support and comfort
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote client independence and self-advocacy
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Provide transportation for clients as needed
Requirements:
  • Direct Support Professional Certificate (Year 1 & Year 2)
  • First Aid/CPR and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
  • Valid California Driver's License
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
