Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network in San Bernardino, CA.
Job SummaryThe Direct Support Professional will provide person-centered support to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting their health, safety, and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily routines, meal preparation, and providing transportation as needed.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement daily routines for clients, ensuring their needs are met and their quality of life is enhanced.
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and using the bathroom.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring clients' dietary needs are met.
- Provide transportation for clients, using company vans as needed.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or well-being to the care team.
- Direct Support Professional Certificate (Year 1 & Year 2) or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of hire.
- First Aid/CPR and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification.
- Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid California driver's license.
- Candidate must pass all pre-employment requirements, including a background check.
