Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities in their homes, at our support centers, or in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Implement behavioral support plans and provide supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care and support.
- Document client progress and provide regular updates to program coordinators and department managers.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Successful completion of LiveScan background check, employment verification, and TB screening.
