A prominent retail organization is actively seeking a Food Service Operations Manager to oversee and enhance the performance of various food service divisions. Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations of food service departments, ensuring efficient processes, compliance with company standards, and adherence to menu plans. Analyze sales data to identify trends and enhance menu offerings.
  • Financial Oversight: Develop and oversee departmental budgets, monitor food costs, labor expenses, and overall financial performance. Conduct financial analyses and prepare reports.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and cultivate a high-performing team. Promote a positive work environment, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Customer Engagement: Deliver exceptional service, address customer complaints, and identify customer needs to foster loyalty and drive sales.
  • Food Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, implement HACCP procedures, and conduct food safety training to maintain product quality.
  • Menu Compliance: Ensure all menu labeling regulations and guidelines are met.
  • Merchandising Strategy: Oversee product presentation, monitor inventory levels, and implement promotional strategies to enhance sales.
  • Equipment Management: Supervise the maintenance and repair of food service equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
  • Technology Utilization: Exhibit proficiency with food service technology systems.
  • Travel Requirements: Regular travel to various store locations is necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail food service management, particularly in a dynamic environment.
  • Extensive culinary knowledge and practical experience in food preparation and menu planning.
  • Proven track record in driving sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety certification is mandatory.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong merchandising skills with a history of creating appealing food displays.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
