As a senior leader at Logically AI, Inc., you will spearhead business development initiatives with U.S. Federal agencies, including the Department of Defense, Department of State, and members of the U.S. Intelligence Community.
A critical aspect of this role involves comprehending the needs of various federal agencies concerning information warfare, influence operations, and adversarial cognitive campaigns, positioning Logically to secure business opportunities that support these efforts.
This role will also require collaboration with Logically's data scientists and subject matter experts in artificial intelligence and technology to assist clients in configuring, understanding, and utilizing Logically software.
The ideal candidate for the Vice President of Business Development position will excel in a dynamic, ambiguous, and entrepreneurial environment.
They must possess a proactive mindset, consistently identifying innovative ways to create value for clients and generate business opportunities with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to define client projects and requirements.
- Assist clients in understanding, configuring, and utilizing Logically Intelligence, our proprietary open-source intelligence platform.
- Identify and generate business opportunities for Logically.
- Conduct business development meetings with potential clients and channel partners.
- Engage with clients to grasp their missions and requirements, positioning Logically to execute projects effectively.
- Coordinate with internal product, engineering, and data science teams to translate customer requirements into actionable insights for clients and inform product development.
- Support project planning, writing, and execution, including developing statements of work, project plans, and bids.
Basic Qualifications:
10 years of relevant experience with government entities, prime government contractors, consulting firms, and/or NGOs related to national security, defense, information warfare, influence operations, foreign affairs, and international development.
Proven track record in creating and implementing sales strategies.
Expertise in government procurement and contracting.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in policy and intelligence-style writing and briefings.
Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
Excellent interpersonal and client engagement skills.
Familiarity with technology.
Willingness to travel approximately 1-3 times per month.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in bid writing.
Knowledge of national security and defense, and/or international development.
Experience in professional services, software-as-a-service (SaaS), and/or start-up environments.
Active U.S. government security clearance.
Proficiency in additional languages.
B.A. in International Relations, National Security, Foreign Affairs, Regional Studies, Political Science, or related fields.
Advanced degree in relevant disciplines.
