Position Overview
As a Showroom Customer Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving the success of our branch operations. Your primary responsibility will be to manage all internal sales and office functions while ensuring compliance with established procedures. You will facilitate timely responses to customer inquiries, quotes, and orders, collaborating closely with Sales Representatives to meet performance targets related to customer satisfaction and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers both in the showroom and via phone.
- Transform inquiries from in-store, phone, or online channels into scheduled appointments for the appropriate outside sales representatives.
- Accurately input customer information into our account management system in a timely manner.
- Acquire comprehensive knowledge of our products and processes, including proficiency in the quoting system.
- Translate customer requests into precise quotes and proposals using the quoting system.
- Effectively communicate customer service needs to the customer service team.
- Assist in onboarding and training new team members.
- Participate in promotional activities aimed at increasing sales and engaging prospects.
- Oversee mailings, filing, software updates, and inventory of office supplies and promotional materials.
- Support all business segments within the showroom proactively.
- Encourage and manage the generation of positive Google reviews.
- Coordinate calls to set appointments for outside representatives in the showroom.
- Maintain a clean and professional showroom environment.
- Uphold the highest standards of personal ethics and adhere to company policies.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by management.
Reports directly to the Inside Sales Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Availability for part-time hours.
- Ability to work at the showroom location during specified hours.
- Prior experience in a retail setting.
- A college degree is advantageous.
Compensation
$19-$23 per hour, depending on experience.
