Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors and staff to define and implement the organization’s vision and strategic direction.
  • Develop strategies to enhance membership through life and annuity offerings in authorized states.
  • Maintain strong relationships with essential stakeholders and cultivate a genuine partnership with the Board by proactively addressing member-related issues and proposing effective solutions.
  • Balance the mission of serving members with the obligation to uphold financial integrity.
  • Establish and uphold a framework that aligns the interests of members, agents, and employees.
  • Set performance goals for all operational areas, regularly assess outcomes, provide constructive feedback, and implement corrective measures as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in the life insurance and annuity sector.
  • Proven executive leadership experience with a track record of engaging with or serving on a Board of Directors.
  • Strong appreciation for fraternal organizations, demonstrating a commitment to community service and benevolence.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of finance, investments, actuarial principles, claims processes, independent agent sales, member services, and enterprise risk management.
  • A bachelor’s degree relevant to the industry is required; advanced education (MBA or industry certification) is highly preferred.
