Aon is seeking a highly skilled Health and Benefits Assistant Vice President-Financial Manager to join our industry-leading team. As part of this role, you will help deliver innovative and effective solutions supporting Health Analytics, empowering results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for all financial activities for assigned clients, leveraging existing templates to prepare regular financial reporting packages.
- Assist in collecting and completing input for various financial models, including Incurred But Not Reported Claims model, Actuarial Value Plan Model, and Pricing Models.
- Analyze ad hoc data using advanced functions in Excel and effectively communicate findings with both internal client teams and stakeholders at the client.
- Conduct ad-hoc projects as needed, utilizing appropriate resources to support Health Care Reform impact modeling, plan changes, self-funded vs. fully insured analysis, and more.
- Develop executive summaries on all key financial components of marketing and provide recommendations.
- Review financial caveats, deviations, and other notes in proposals, adding appropriate notes to the client RFP results presentation.
- Review insurance carrier renewal calculations for medical, dental, vision, life, and disability, identifying areas for negotiation.
Requirements:
- Eight plus years of health and benefits underwriting experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Strong proficiency in self-insured and fully insured funding arrangements.
- Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- Appropriate Insurance License/Life and Health or willingness to obtain license as soon as possible.
