Position Title: Lead Architect for Building Projects

Role Overview:
The Lead Architect will be accountable for overseeing the Architectural components of the Facility.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring that systems are designed in accordance with a clear compliance statement that meets established requirements, including the demonstration of adherence to relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.

You will support the execution of Architectural work packages, ensuring they align with the defined scope, quality, timeline, and budget.
Management of the Architectural aspects of the Dock Facility enhancement will be crucial, ensuring technical performance from designers and providing suitable technical responses. You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert in Architecture.
Additionally, you will offer Technical design guidance and conduct reviews of Architectural design packages.
Integration of Architectural designs with other design packages will also be part of your responsibilities.

It is essential that the design documentation adequately addresses the operational scope required by the Project Manager and is produced to the agreed standards, timeline, and budget.

You will plan for effective project execution, identifying critical factors and contributing significantly to the project's technical planning process.
Ensuring that effective Quality Management Systems are in place and deliver compliance with the organization's Business Management System and Technical Manual will be vital.

It is important to ensure that all managed processes and activities are well-documented, with appropriate records maintained and configuration and quality controls implemented.

Furthermore, you will ensure that both staff and contractors are well-informed about the hazards and risks associated with the work performed by the consultant team through effective management and communication of the Risk Assessment.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
Experience with highly complex buildings in the nuclear sector (desirable).
Experience with complex buildings in heavily regulated environments (essential).
Experience with major Civil Infrastructure projects in marine settings.
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
Chartered Architect status, registered with RIBA.
