Core Duties

  • Generate customer quotes, orders, and purchase requisitions within SAP.
  • Engage with customers regarding outstanding quotes, purchase orders, revisions, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with international affiliates across various time zones.
  • Adapt foreign quotes to meet American standards.
  • Organize and monitor job schedules in SAP Connect.
  • Provide FSEs with essential job details, including travel schedules, machine specifications, and contact information.
  • Act as the primary contact for Field Service Engineers concerning scheduling matters.
  • Follow up on parts required for each job.
  • Manage incoming communications from both internal and external customers, domestically and internationally.
  • Escalate issues to the Team Lead as necessary.
  • Edit trip reports, approve time entries in Connect, and maintain CATs reporting.
  • Support Buhler's Quality Process (CAQ) through SAP and scheduling.
  • Ensure punctual and reliable attendance at work.
  • Oversee miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as required.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills to effectively engage with diverse individuals.
  • Confidence in navigating uncertain situations.
  • Mathematical aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Professional telephone etiquette is essential.
  • Capability to identify, assess, and resolve issues in high-pressure environments.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Able to type at least 50 words per minute.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Background in manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a constantly changing environment.
  • Capable of working independently while contributing to a team setting.
