About the Role

This is a senior-level position within the Supply Chain department at Walmart, responsible for translating a wide range of content from English to French. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in translation, supply chain operations, and leadership communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and finalize translations of documents from various departments, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and style.
  • Proofread, edit, and revise the work of other translators as needed.
  • Develop and maintain an internal terminology database to ensure consistency across the Translation Department.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards, working efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with requesters to clarify project requirements and provide high-quality translations.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Walmart's business operations and retail industry to support effective communication.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in translating English to French.
  • Background in supply chain operations and logistics.
  • Experience working with speechwriters for timely translations.
  • Proficiency in SDL WorldServer or similar translation tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in translation or a related field.
What We Offer

Walmart offers a competitive salary range of $90,000.00-$180,000.00, as well as annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional benefits include stock options, health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field, and 4 years of experience in communications, journalism, business, or a related area, or 6 years of experience in communications, journalism, business, or a related area.
