Currently, less than one-third of students achieve proficient reading levels, which is particularly concerning for Hispanic and Black students.
Position Summary
Are you an ambitious Inside Sales Representative passionate about enhancing educational outcomes? We are looking for a proactive individual to lead outreach initiatives, establish meaningful connections with potential clients, and create new sales avenues within the K-12 educational sector. In this role, you will engage in consultative selling, providing innovative, research-driven ELA and math solutions tailored to the needs of schools in your designated area. Collaborating closely with our external sales team, you will be instrumental in broadening our market reach and promoting the use of both print and digital educational materials. Your achievements will be recognized through a competitive revenue target and an attractive incentive structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Consultative Selling: Utilize a strategic outbound sales approach to identify customer needs and position EPS Learning's offerings as effective solutions for their educational objectives.
- Relationship Development: Build and nurture multi-level relationships within educational institutions to effectively market and sell our resources, focusing on private, parochial, and charter schools.
- Territory Oversight: Take ownership of your geographic area by identifying key institutions, monitoring market trends, and employing CRM tools for enhanced efficiency and information sharing.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Promote a positive and cooperative team atmosphere, working alongside internal departments to unlock revenue opportunities and deliver exceptional value to customers.
- Challenge Resolution: Address objections with assurance and transform potential setbacks into opportunities through resilience and a customer-focused approach.
- Customer Interaction: Respond promptly to inquiries, follow up on leads, and guide customers toward our user-friendly online ordering system.
- Strategic Contributions: Assist in sales forecasting, profit analysis, and marketing plan development by sharing insights gathered from your territory.
- Event Engagement: Represent EPS Learning at sales meetings, conferences, trade shows, and strategic customer engagements to enhance your industry knowledge and expand your professional network.
Qualifications
- Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree in education or a related business field.
- Ideally possesses 2 to 4 years of sales experience (preferably as an SDR) or has prior experience as a classroom educator with demonstrated entrepreneurial activities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Exhibits a high level of professionalism, ethics, confidence, and a commitment to teamwork.
- Engaging and goal-oriented personality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver compelling product presentations.
- Must reside in Florida and be open to occasional travel within the state and Southeast region.
